This is Marie
I met Marie by chance. We went out for drinks, started chatting, and discovered we were both translators. She had just returned from San Francisco, where she lived with a host family, studied linguistics, and worked for five years. She became part of their family and brought that same warmth and drive back home.
Soon after, she emailed me asking for my CV and said she’d contact me if any opportunities came up. At the time, she worked for a translation agency, and I was freelancing for a DTP company. We collaborated regularly for two years until she offered me a project manager position to help expand the business.
Marie is sharp, proactive, and incredibly supportive. After a month of training, I joined her full-time, and that marked the start of both a strong working relationship and a lasting friendship. Years later, we decided to start fresh and launch our own company.
With her vision and people skills and my focus on detail and precision, we founded W/Studio Translations.
This is Gime
Let me introduce Gime—a talented translator, dedicated mom of two, and master of detail. With a sharp eye that catches even the smallest mistakes, she ensures every word is spot-on. After graduating from a top college in Argentina, she quickly developed strong skills in translation and proofreading, and later expanded into interpretation and teaching, always guided by her endless curiosity.
At the same time, she discovered CrossFit, which sparked a deeper interest in health and wellness. What started as a fitness routine turned into a holistic lifestyle, and she began studying health and medical topics on her own. This personal growth soon became a professional strength, giving her valuable insight for specialized translation projects.
Gime approaches every task with thorough research, precision, and heart. She’s not just a translator—she’s a careful investigator who fully immerses herself in each subject to deliver top-quality work. Over the last 10 years, we’ve built a strong partnership based on trust, shared values, and a mutual love for language and excellence.
